Dear Weather,
It's so hot outside Tom Brady couldn't even get your number! Heh...nailed it.
Regards,
Vanessa
P.S. Don't give him your number.
Dear Sleep,
You wiley temptress you. Always pretending like I'm finally going to get you....
You win this round.
Yours (hopefully soon),
Vanessa
Dear Inventory,
I would rather give Tom Brady my number then deal with you.
That's bad.
No sentiment,
Vanessa
Dear Diet Coke,
I had T-Pain write a song about you...it goes like this "you poppin you rollin you poppin....I'm in love with a soft drink"*. We're still working on it but I think you get the gist. Ha guess what else? Gist is spelled with a "G"!? Who knew? I bet you did. Because you're awesome.
Always and Forever,
Vanessa
Dear 90's music,
Thanks for letting me relive my 6th grade angst. I'm talking to you Alanis Morissette "You Oughta Know".
You also oughta know that "oughta" is not a word recognized by spell check.
Love,
Vanessa
Dear Saturday,
I will enjoy you so much more because I don't have to work. It's about time we meet again.
Passionately Yours,
Vanessa
Dear Readers,
Have a great weekend!!!
xoxo,
Vanessa
*song is originally "I'm In Luv Wit a Stripper" by T-Pain. A terrible horrible song that you should never listen to because it will get stuck in your head and you'll feel like a pervert. Don't fall in love with strippers. I get the feeling they are all running a low grade fever. And if you are a stripper....I still love you! Thanks for reading my blog!

Dear Tom Brady,
I know you were trying your best to avoid me this year. Looks like your plan failed. I'll see you and your ponytail in September.

Weekend Collage
I hope y'all had a great weekend! I was busy that's for sure. We had a big event at work on Saturday which went well but it was a long day! It was worth it however because I got to hang out with my gal pals Jessica and Rhiannon and we had so much fun!
that's us if you couldn't figure that one out...
It's nice to get that girl time every once in awhile. Here are some other fun things my weekend consisted of...

wednesday review on thursday...
So for this week's review I'll be reviewing some truly wonderful/terrible things so let's get started!
1.) Teen Mom (from last week)
The first thing you should know is that Amber and Gary have been back together for an entire week so obviously they are celebrating by buying a house together.
Ah that look of love.
They decide to take a family vacation and their in-car banter is stimulating...goes something like this:
"Look Amber...pumpkins"
"Shut the &%#@ up Gary you talk too fast!"
"Amber shut your %$&#*@% mouth!"
"$&%@#$*& Gary you are so annoying!"
Family vacations rock.
Tyler and Catelynn are also getting an apartment together. Tyler loves powder blue bathrooms and cabinet space. They find the perfect apartment and proceed to decorate with this
Why yes...that is a giant blanket with their baby's face on it. All the design rage right now.
Farrah is still whining. This time it's about being a model. Here she is "modeling"
She also had a heart to heart with her daughter about braised ribs. If I could count all the times I had girl talk with my mom where we discussed ways to cook meat....good times.
2.) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
It was so amazing right!? I went with my friend Jack and we both cried. A lot. It was sad and beautiful and wonderful. An amazing end to an amazing story.
3.) Lancome Oscillation Intensity mascara - $25
I received this mascara for gratis from Lancome and I wasn't sure about it. I LOVE their Hypnose Drama mascara and I just didn't think I would like anything as much. I was wrong! I'm in love with this new one. It gives volume but a nice clean separated volume and so easy to use! If you get the chance stop by your local Lancome counter and give it a try. You will be amazed.
That's all for my reviews this week! I hope you enjoy them! And just remember who is watching over you...
Sleep well....

Weekend Collage
It was a rough and emotional weekend. Lot's going on....BUT last night made it all better. I got to hang out with all my best friends and eat Greek food and we had a blast. Too busy laughing to take pictures...so I have none to share BUT I would like to share the rest of my weekend with you!
And yes that is High School Musical 2 you see in my collage....because I watched it. I regret nothing.
I also got my hair cut/colored! I ended up doing kind of a combo of 1 and 3 and thanks to all who voted!
Pictures to come soon hopefully!
Have a great Monday!

Friday Letters
Dear Mother Nature,
Did your boyfriend cheat on you with your best friend or something? What is your damage? Can't we just all agree that 102 is too hot?
Consider it,
Vanessa
Dear T-Mobile,
Remember how I have to turn on/off my phone to get service sometimes? I'm still annoyed.
Just keep that in mind,
Vanessa
Dear McDonalds,
Somehow an Egg McMuffin tastes both more delicious and more disgusting at 3 AM. You are an enigma to me.
I'm amazed,
Vanessa
Dear Friday,
Thanks for coming around again...although you shine a little less because I've been on vacation all week. But next week you'll be back to the #1 spot in my heart.
I still love you,
Vanessa

skyscraper
Ok it's Thursday and I have no idea what to blog about. But I'm really trying to blog everyday so that I keep y'alls interest.... assuming that you have interest in the first place of course. And then I heard this song "Skyscraper" by Demi Lovato. Now I've never been a huge Demi fan but I really do admire her resilience. She's had many personal struggles that have been made public. I don't know what I'd do if every mistake or every bad day I had was made public. Actually I'm going through something right now that is a bit similar to the extent that...something personal has been made public and it's a very very difficult thing. That being said...I think that it's all about how we rise up after being brought down. This song is just...beautiful. There is no other word to describe it. It's powerful but vulnerable at the same time. Part of the lyrics...
As the smoke clears, I awaken and untangle you from me
Would it make you feel better to watch me while I bleed?
All my windows, still are broken
But I'm standing on my feet
You can take everything I have
You can break everything I am
Like I'm made of glass, like I'm made of paper
Go on and try to tear me down I will be rising from the ground
like a skyscraper....
I think it's a song that everyone should listen to and everyone can relate to. So this is my gift to you on this Thursday. Remember...it's not about how you fall...it's how you pick yourself back up.

wednesday review
I decided that I would review some items for you today. First of all I'd like to share with you a dream I had last night where my leg hair was so long I had to cut it with scissors. It was like...long blonde horse hair all over my legs. Needless to say...I shaved today.
Also this lady (on the right of course)
aka my best friend Beth, is in town this week! We spent last night trolling around yelling at people from the car. Just like we did when we were 19. Some things (thankfully) never change.
Anyway back to the reviewing....
First item(s) on review...I re-discovered how awesome Redbox is. I have Netflix but I always forget to send my movies back. I still have "The Back Up Plan" so if that tells you how long it's been...(cough august 2010 cough cough cough)
Anyway...I recently saw the following movies and here are my reviews.
I Am Number 4
I didn't know how I would feel about this movie but I ended up LOVING it and watching it 3 times. It was so so good and I highly recommend it. It's good for both guys and girls...action and romance.
Beastly
This is the remake of "Beauty and the Beast"...Mary Kate Olsen was in it and her character scared me a little bit and I kept waiting for her to say "you got it dude!" (cue the laughter at my hilarious throwback to Full House joke). Vanessa Hudgens is also in it and I kept waiting for her to not be....I don't like her. All in all it was decent. It's a good movie for girls night.
The Roommate
This was the stupidest movie I've seen in a long time. Anti-climatic, lame dialogue...you get the idea. This movie is best for never.
Just Go With It
Very very funny movie and I normally don't care for Adam Sandler. Good job guys. This is a great movie to watch with you Mom and little sister....because that's who I watched it with.
Now I'd like to review my absolute favorite lotion of all time
Drenched in Pink by Victoria Secret
Seriously the best lotion ever and I have to say thank you to my friend Rhiannon for introducing me to it.
And last but not least...the Casey Anthony trial.
All I have to say is this...
Following reasons as to why I feel this way
- What parent takes 31 days to call police when their child goes missing???
- There was a full on frozen Stouffer's meal found in her car...umm..what the eff? I convict her just for that.
- She made up a nanny named Zanny...similar to Dwight making up a dentist named Crentist.
Lady justice wept at that verdict.

ch ch ch changes...
Well I hope none of you are afraid of change...because I totally changed my blog. I'm not quite sure about it yet so let me know what you think. Also I'm finally getting my hair done on Friday! We are very excited about this...as are the people who think I was recently released from a women's correctional facility based on how bad my roots are. So we get to play my favorite game....
Vote For Vanessa's New Hair
So here are the styles I'm thinking of and you'll get to vote for what you think is your fave...so here we go!
#1
#2
#3
not the best picture but you get the idea...
So there are your choices! Good luck. I think I know my favorite....I'll be interested in finding out what you think! Voting is to the right! Have fun!
hello!
Why hello again blogging friends! It's great to meet you again. I apologize for having gone missing from y'alls lives like that.
And I know you're sad too.
But I'm back and really have nothing of significance to share with you. So....let's talk about other people's lives!
Television is going fantastic isn't it? I love summer television. It's so much more mind numbing. Nothing I love more than laying in the sun listening to music all day...getting just the right amount of sunburned, and then coming back into the air conditioned house and watching terrible people doing terrible things. Some current favorites:
1. The Bachelorette - Monday ABC
I don't have much to say about this season. Ashley bores me. I think she's still super insecure with herself and I don't think any of her potential relationships will work out. I think she needs to work on herself a little bit more before she tries to find herself in a relationship...just sayin.
2. Real Housewives of New Jersey - Sunday Bravo
My favorite series of housewives. They are the most real to me. The Manzo family is the greatest thing on television. And so so funny.
3. The Glee Project - Sunday Oxygen
I was apprehensive about this one because....it seemed dumb. But I watched the first episode and now I can't stop! I love seeing all the talent these kids have!
4. Teen Mom - Tuesday MTV
Here is a run down on the first episode of Teen Mom: 1. Farrah wants a boob job...I'm sorry..."needs" a boob job. She did breast feed for a week so...justified I guess. She can't afford a boob job so she needs a loan. She calls people and says "Hi I need a loan for a breast augmentation" with a straight face. Touche.... 2. I don't really remember anything else because pretty much the entire first episode was about Farrah wanting boobs, Farrah getting boobs, Farrah's mom with the dead eyes who made her get a will written up just in case she died while getting boobs. Boobs.
5. Big Brother - Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday CBS
Anyone who knows me knows that this is my absolute favorite show of all time. And this season especially because they brought back some of my favorites! It's already been hilarious and I can't wait for the rest of the season to unfold. I mean...in the first episode they had to hang on giant bananas so....I don't know what's not to like.
6. White Collar - Tuesday USA
If you aren't watching this show....just...don't ever talk to me again. And as if that glowing review wasn't enough for you...just have this:
Yeah...now you wanna set your TiVo....
If you were wondering if I actually watch all of these shows.....the answer is yes. If you were wondering if I'm still single...just answer that on your own.
Another story about work for you...I had a lady who came in carrying around a full grown cat who wanted a make over. Pretty much a metaphor for my entire life.
In true Monday tradition...here is a collage of my weekend! It was quite eventful as you can see...
At least I washed my hair. I found it important that you know that.
I've been listening to some great new music lately so look forward to a new playlist sometime in the near future. I'm on vacation from work for the ENTIRE WEEK so yay for me!!!
Happy Monday!

baby you're a firework...
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!
Taking a cue from Bethany Joy I've started making these collages...so fun. Here's a collage of what my weekend consisted of...
And just as a parting gift....isn't it nice to know that we live in the same free country as people like this?
I'm so proud to be an American.
